Instructed by photographer and graphic designer, Raz Hansrod, this day workshop will be a good base for photography enthusiasts to develop shooting skills and photo editing through hands-on experience, a technique of creative control, knowledge of how to wield the lens, and finally, finding your own personal style.
Starting from the theory, and a brief history of the art, you will learn essential camera controls, focus and exposure lock, fundamentals of using light and shadow, compositional aspect, storytelling, developing a personal style editing with various mobile apps, using accessories to enhance your mobile phone’s capabilities.
For this workshop, you will need:
• a smartphone with a fully charged battery ( with downloaded Instagram and Snapseed app);
• smartphone charger;
• 2 – 3 images on your smartphone to edit in class;
• notebook & pen;
• any additional accessories for shooting on the smartphone (if applicable).
Gulf Photo Plus operates on 50% capacity. Visitors, staff and teachers have to wear a mask and a two-meter distance should be maintained between people at all times.
