Alserkal Avenue invites flowers fans for the “Fall Inspired Ikebana” workshop, taking place at Âme Artistic Studio on September 19.
Âme Artistic Studio will welcome everyone for a special
Ikebana workshop, the traditional and ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement, by using fall-inspired blossoms and foliage. All participants will be able to create and compose their own Ikebana floral arrangement using the asymmetric technique and style taught by the instructor.

A certified Master from Ohara School of Japan,
Harue Oki will tell and demonstrate the symbolism of Sakura in Japan and guide on the process of composing the natural, and exquisite Sakura Ikebana. Using the concepts of minimalism and simplicity in an empty space, participants will direct the gaze of the observer from the fillers and objects to the main subject of the composition – Sakura.
