The cutting-edge four-piece from Manchester, led by the ever-dynamic Matt “Matty” Healey on vocals, has been touring and releasing music as The 1975 since 2012, although the band has been playing together since 2002 under various monikers. Their sound, which is a hybrid of soulful rhythm and blues meets rock and pop, combined with three number one albums, each taking the listener on an authentic musical journey where no two songs sound alike, has projected the band into celebrity status.
