While the Hall is shut, Royal Albert Home brings exclusive sessions with versatile artists from May 29 to June 17.

Royal Albert Home prepared a series of live streaming concerts to enjoy music even in the current situation. These virtual concerts are aimed to experience some of the most talented artists around. This series is set to continue throughout lockdown, with plenty more acts still to be announced:

• Friday, May 29  at 10:30 PM
Grammy-awarded singer, Imogen Heap, will deliver an exclusive set from her home. Highly-acclaimed as Composer & Arranger for the West End musical “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, Imogen also stands for the creative force behind gestureware “MI.MU” gloves and the music ecosystem “Mycelia”.

• Saturday, May 30 at 04:00 PM
Albert’s Band’s cellist Samara Ginsberg and pianist Leo Nicholson will perform a little gig featuring classic repertoire by Schumann, Bach and Dvorak, which will be suitable for little ones as it includes enchanting cello. The program “Classical For Kids” is a regular series of events from the “Education & Outreach” team and is perfect for children of all ages.

• Saturday, May 30 at 11:00 PM
English indie rock band from Leeds, Kaiser Chiefs, will play their hits such as “Oh My God”, “I Predict A Riot”, “Everyday I Love You Less and Less”, “Never Miss A Beat” and “Hole In My Soul”. Their brand-new sound on the electronic dance-pop track will entertain everybody with energetic rhythms.

• Thursday, June 4 at 10:30 PM
Tim Burgess releases his fifth solo album, “I Love The New Sky”, in May 2020 on Bella Union. During the lockdown, Tim started #TimsTwitterListeningParty, in which people all around the world listen to an album at the same time and share their experiences.
