The new art programme “In the Studio” will be introduced by Guggenheim Abu Dhabi; thanks to this new virtual event, local Abu Dhabi artists will represent their view, artworks, and just communicate about creativity.
On Tuesday evening, there will be a final panel discussion bringing together all four resident artists Maitha Abdalla, Rand Abdul Jabbar, Hashel Al Lamki and Nasser Al Zayani, with Guggenheim Abu Dhabi curators Sara Bin Safwan and Sasha Kalter-Wasserman, to speak about their work, their interests, and the strengths of the local arts community.
In collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi’s mission, “In the Studio” is part of a broader creative platform for artists to raise awareness of the importance of the arts, foster a deeper understanding of cultural heritage, attract more local and international audiences.
