Initiated by Arts School, these Drama Classes are aimed at children who are creative and passionate about performing drama and using acting skills. These classes are suitable for different skills and ages:
• Junior Class (Age 5 – 10 years) at 05:00 PM
The school offers to choose an object from around the homeplace and get creative by using your imagination. There will be “Miss Emma” for the little ones to perform a fun example representing acting talents and creativeness.
• Advance Class (Age 11 – 18 years) at 06:00 PM
This class will be with the head of drama Ben showcasing a hilarious example of his TV Commercial. Ben is renowned for playing lead roles as the original Link Larkin in “Hairspray”. For this role, he was nominated as “Best Actor in a Musical” for a prestigious Olivier Award. As well as playing leading roles as Danny Zuko in “Grease”, and Billy in “Dirty Dancing”.
Also, there is a chance to win free mini Musical Theatre classes. All you need to do is:
1. Watch the advised classes from the above on Dubai Opera’s Facebook page (05:00 PM / 06:00 PM)
2. Practice it at home and make a video of your performing results
3. Upload this video to your social media account (Facebook/Instagram) within 1-2 days and put hashtag #DiverseDubaiOpera and tags @DubaiOpera and @DiversePerformingArtsSchool
Diverse Performing Arts School will check all of the materials and pick up a winner from the most dedicated and talented ones, and contact him or her via social media channels.
