Dubai Opera invites various artists to perform for the audience, who missed for music performances and concerts, while the lockdown keeps us inside of homes. And this time, wonderful pianist Okiem will play some musical pieces right from his from the intimacy of his home.
Okiem is a well-known composer and pianist whose music is described as cinematic classical. Having toured as a professional keyboardist for artists including Tinie Tempah, Leona Lewis, Duke Dumont, Kian Egan (of Westlife), Sergey Lazarev (in Russia), Okiem founded his own style, which he describes as “cinematic, dramatic and dynamic”.
Combining synth textures of piano, synthesizers and orchestral instruments, Okiem’s performance will feature some tracks from his debut album “Xiro”, and also there will be some new pieces from his upcoming album due for release later this year. The pianist tries always to broaden his musical palette to create own unique sound.
