Collaborated with several event management, Theatre by QE2 will showcase a streaming interview with great Irish comedian&host Roy Walker, and his son Phil Walker, who followed father’s steps and became standup performer.
Roy Walker is known for being the original host of the game show “Catchphrase” between 1986 and 1999 and as one of the stars of the comedy showcase “The Comedians”. Also, the audience can recognize him by such BBC projects as “The Real Marigold Hotel”, “Just a Minute”, and famous “Britain’s Got Talent” show.
Looking up to father’s career, Phil Walker has become a comedian with a special style, which is pretty adaptable to any audience. Phil’s comedy is relaxed, fun and easy to get into with his northern mocking jokes and amusing anecdotes. Thanks to this unique humour, he won “City Life Comedian” of the Year 2020. Walker’s TV appearances include “Talking Telephone Numbers” (ITV1), “Live at Jongleurs” (Paramount).
