The upcoming monthly meet-up of books lovers is going to take place on July 31, at Festival Plaza.

This event is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and decide what books to choose for reading. Participants will also be able to take an advantage of a 30% discount on all venue’s menu items during the book club as well as receive a book club branded goody bag with treats from Festival Plaza, Booktopia, and more. Refreshments will be provided including coffee to help keep the discussions going.

The seats are limited due to COVID regulations, which means it is necessary to book your spot through the registration form given below. It is also recommended to come in advance to choose the comfy place, as the club itself will start at 11:00 am.

Festival Plaza Book Club Activities

Every meet-up, a book is selected through polls and being discussed during the event. The previous ‘Book of the Month’ was Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. The lead of the upcoming book club’s discussions – a travel TV presenter, author, and editor – Sarah Hedley Hymers. She will be joined by an author of The Trees Told Me So – Purva Grover.

Guests coming along with kids can leave their little ones at Booktopia with a nanny where they will be able to their own book club session.

Festival Plaza Book Club Facebook group allows having more further discussions, even not as a part of particular events.
