The romantic comedy was originally staged in Dubai in August 2019 and received many positive reviews. The audience was thrilled to see a refreshing Hindi play and demanded a Re-Run. “Chuhal – Re Run” will be performed in Hindi.
The play tells the playful and powerful love story of Sudhir and Aarti. They are from different worlds, but still, they get affected to one another despite time, forcing the two to question the validity of truth, gender norms and traditions.
The relationship of this couple develops with a mixture of playful teasing and self-exploration and self-identification, which will help the main characters overcome the obstacles of life, traditions, and stereotypes.
This love story is about a reflection of life from the female view. The unique sense of humour of the director will bring such serious subjects as love, relationships, life obstacles to the entertaining theatrical performance wrapped with wonderful actor play.
The “Chuhal Re-Run” will feature such actors as Saleem Surani and Lavina Jaswani along with Apoorva Mehra, Alba Rose Quadros, Mohsin Sheikh, Manas Vilas, Nadha Nabeel, and Sayed Taifur.
