Chalik Quartet consists of four members of the talented Franco-Russian family. Four brothers and sisters performed together from a young age, and their quartet is widely recognized around the world. Young musicians also received the Chamber Music Award at the International University of Vienna’s Summer Academy (ISA) and the 2017 Fondazione Monte dei Paschi Award in Siena. They are laureates of the Tremplin de la Philharmonic of Paris and are supported by the Safran Foundation.
For the concert, the quartet prepared a special program of French and East European compositions, including Saint-Saens and Dvorak, with 19th-century works and contemporary music. In their musical style, musicians will also emphasize the artistic influences of the Arab and Indian cultures that have a big impact on their work.
