These free Ballet Classes will teach a ballet routine and a sequence based on the ballet ‘Don Quixote’ for junior and advanced ballet dancers. The classes are suitable for different skills and ages:
• Junior Ballet Class (Age 5 – 10 years) at 05:00 PM
This class is aimed at little ballerinas from 5 to 10 years old. Miss Michelle will teach kids a ballet routine and the choreography, inspired by the classic ballet “Don Quixote”.
• Advance Ballet Class (Age 11 – 18 years) at 06:00 PM
The School’s head, Lara, is going to teach advanced ballet dancers a sequence based on the ballet “Don Quixote”. With a professional career, Lara has performed as a soloist in “Sleeping Beauty”, “Coppelia” and “Giselle” as well as in professional musical theatre productions such as “The Phantom of the Opera”. And now, she is going to showcase the best elements from the classic performance.
Also, there is a chance to win additional free ballet dance classes or one of Diverse Performing Arts School’s many other dances. All you need to do is:
1. Watch the advised training from the above on Dubai Opera’s Facebook page (05:00 PM / 06:00 PM)
2. Practice it at home and make a video of your practice
3. Upload this video to your social media account (Facebook/Instagram) within 1-2 days and put hashtag #DiverseDubaiOpera and tags @DubaiOpera and @DiversePerformingArtsSchool
Diverse Performing Arts School will check all of the materials and pick up a winner from the most struggling and talented ones, and contact him or her via social media.
