Angham is an Egyptian singer-songwriter, who has become one of the top-ranked performers in her homeland with a musical mix of Arabic classics, soul and urban contemporary. Her recognizable vocal trademark is in the whistle register, which makes her songs so emotive.
Born in Alexandria to a musical family, she began singing in her teenage years and studied at the Cairo Conservatory of Music. She has released many albums including “Omry Maak” (2003), “Nefsy Ahebbak” (2009) and “Ahlam Barea’a” (2015). Her latest album, “Hala Khasa Gedan” was released in February 2019.
Influenced by Arabic classics and soul musicians, Angham became a well-known pop artist in the Arabic world. Her music contains strong influences of gospel urban contemporary music, Arabic classics, R&B, and lately reggaeton. Angham will bring some of her hits as “Ann Farh Ghayeb”, “Ajmal Makan”, “Leih Sebtaha” and many others.
